Donations of working cell phones with batteries and matching chargers are always accepted. If you have a cell phone, charger, or battery that is either in a non-working condition or you do not have all the needed accessories, please contact the Domestic Violence Center at 216.651.8484. Often times in a domestic violence situation, the victim and children are forced to leave their violent environment and are without clothes, money and other resources. With the use of a cellular phone, the victim is awarded a sense of security knowing the police can be reached immediately should they need their assistance.
Financial donations cannot be accepted but the Witness/Victim Service Center appreciates the donation of RTA bus tickets so that clients receive transportation access to allow them to receive agency services and attend court appearances.
New or gently used toys and stuffed animals may be donated to the Witness/Victim Service Center for use in our waiting area, the police we work with, or for children to take to their new home after fleeing from an abusive environment.
