ICS-300 Intermediate ICS for Expanding Events

This 18-hour classroom course is designed for front-line personnel with supervisory responsibilities, such as the Incident Commander or Planning Section Chief. The three-day curriculum includes instruction in general principles associated with incident command, along with various tabletop exercises that allow students to put this knowledge to practical use.

Required Prerequisites:

Required: IS-100, IS-200, IS 700 (Students must provide copies of their certificates on day one of the course) http://training.fema.gov/IS/crslist.aspx?all=true  (Call the FEMA Independent Study (IS) Office at 1-800-238-3358 if you need to request replacement FEMA (IS) certificates of completion and they will email them to you).

 Course Target Audience:

The target audience for this course is individuals who may assume a supervisory role in expanding incidents. Note: During an expanding incident, some or all of the Command and General Staff positions may be activated, as well as Division/Group Supervisor and/or Unit Leader level positions. These incidents may extend into multiple operational periods. This course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses.
