Employee Recognition Program
An
Employee Recognition Program has been created to recognize and honor the achievements and contributions of loyal, committed employees who consistently demonstrate performance excellence and who go the extra mile to provide professional quality service on the job or in their community.
Purpose of Recognition Program
Recognize and honor the achievements of employees who have helped Justice Affairs live up to its vision, mission and goals.
- Acknowledge employees whose dedication, competence and exemplary performance has increased agency efficiency, enhanced agency pride and increased employee morale.
- Recognize employees whose contributions have made a significant impact in areas of customer service, new programs or cost savings to the department.
The first DJA Award recipients were nominated by their peers for the following awards:
Distinctive Performance: Charise McAlpine, Division of Grants & Training, Criminal Justice Services, and
Customer Service: Damon Dawson, Division of Custody Mediation Services
A ceremony for award recipients and their Divisions or Units is being held on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sheriff's Training Room in the Justice Center.
