With the transformation to a Charter-form of county government, in 2011 the Cuyahoga County Department of Public Safety and Justice Services was established. The Department encompasses all divisions that previously existed under the County’s former Department of Justice Affairs.   In addition to descriptions of the Department’s various operations, programs and services, on this website you will also find information about emergency preparedness, trainings, citizen volunteers, current publications, grant announcements, public safety communications updates, and other valuable resources.  


Violence Against Women Act  Funding 2018 Solicitation

Note: Please read the Solicitation for Applications in its entirety and respond to each section as instructed. Several sections have new and/or updated requirements. Failure to address these requirements may impact funding recommendations.
